This Digital Refund Policy applies to digital music and other downloadable products purchased directly through the Night Shift Music website. Night Shift Music is operated by Night Shift Management LLC, doing business as Night Shift Music.
1. Digital Purchases Are Generally Final
Because digital products are delivered electronically and access is provided shortly after payment, digital purchases are generally final and non-refundable once download access has been provided. This does not affect any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
2. When a Refund May Be Provided
Night Shift Music may approve a full or partial refund in circumstances including:
A duplicate purchase;
An incorrect product was delivered;
The purchased file is corrupted or materially defective;
A technical issue prevents Night Shift Music from providing the purchased product;
An unauthorized or fraudulent transaction is confirmed; or
Other circumstances where Night Shift Music determines that a refund is appropriate.
Refund requests are reviewed individually and approval is not guaranteed.
3. Download and Technical Issues
Customers experiencing a problem downloading a purchased product should contact Night Shift Music before requesting a refund. Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to correct the issue, restore download access, or provide a replacement file. A technical issue that can reasonably be corrected may not require a refund.
4. Download Access After a Refund
A full refund revokes any remaining download access associated with the refunded purchase. Previously issued purchase-access links may be disabled, and the refunded product may no longer be available for download. A partial refund does not necessarily revoke download access unless Night Shift Music determines otherwise based on the circumstances of the refund.
5. Download Limits and Expiration
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, digital purchases include up to five (5) download opportunities and remain available for download for thirty (30) days following successful payment. Expiration of the download period or exhaustion of the available download limit does not, by itself, entitle a customer to a refund. Customers are responsible for safely storing and backing up files after downloading them.
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Night Shift Music before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to resolve legitimate purchase or delivery issues. If a payment is charged back, reversed, cancelled, or otherwise determined not to have been successfully paid, Night Shift Music may suspend or revoke download access associated with that transaction. Nothing in this section limits a customer's lawful right to dispute a transaction through their financial institution.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, or financial institution. Any applicable taxes will be refunded or adjusted as required by law and the payment processor's procedures.
