1.) TRACK SPECIFICATIONS:

All submitted demos must be fully mastered extended mixes. For the general demo submission form, submissions must be provided as WAV files. For the artist demo portal, MP3 files are accepted for review purposes only. If a demo submitted through the portal is approved, WAV files will be requested before release preparation begins. Only extended mixes are accepted. Do not submit radio edits. Radio edits will be rejected and will only be requested if your demo is approved. Please submit one track at a time to comply with our database and review process, unless the submission is for an approved EP or album consideration.

2.) EXCLUSIVE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT:

By submitting a demo to Night Shift Music, you confirm that the submitted track is being provided to us on an exclusive review basis. This means the track must not currently be submitted to another label, under review by another label, approved by another label, offered to another label, committed to another label, or signed to another label, distributor, publisher, or third party. You also agree not to submit, pitch, offer, commit, or sign the same track to another label or third party while Night Shift Music is reviewing your demo or preparing a decision. If the track has already been submitted elsewhere, is currently under consideration elsewhere, or has received another offer, you must not submit it to Night Shift Music unless that opportunity has been fully declined or withdrawn.

3.) REVIEW TIMELINE:

Demo submissions are typically reviewed within 7–14 days. Review time may vary depending on submission volume, internal review needs, A&R scheduling, release planning, and the time needed to properly evaluate the track.All demos and follow-ups are done monday-thursday.

4.) REQUESTED INFORMATION:

If submitting through the Label Radar Demo Submission Portal, please be prepared to provide the following information upon track acceptance - This information is also requested via our Demo submission form.

• Legal first and last name

• Artist performing name

• Email address

• Spotify artist profile URL

• Apple Music artist profile URL
  
  

This information is required to complete the distribution and release preparation process. Refusal to provide the required information may result in the release being rejected.

5.) LABEL ASSIGNMENT:

Night Shift Music has sole discretion to determine the appropriate label assignment for any approved release, including but not limited to Fuzion Four, Fuzion Dreams, Solid Black Recordings, Light of The Moon, or actuate music. Submission to Night Shift Music does not guarantee release.

6.) SUBMISSION FORMAT:

Do not send download-only links. Your demo may be automatically rejected if our team is required to download the track in order to listen. Accepted submission formats include Dropbox streaming links, Google Drive streaming links, and Private SoundCloud links. Links must be accessible and playable by our team at the time of review and until the review process is complete and a decision has been made and given to you.

7.) SUBMISSION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

You acknowledge that Night Shift Music is under no obligation to approve, sign, release, distribute, or provide feedback on any submitted demo. All A&R decisions are final. Approval of a demo does not create a binding release obligation unless and until a separate written agreement is signed by all required parties.

8.) APPROVAL AND CONTRACT PREPARATION

If Night Shift Music approves your demo, that approval is based on the understanding that the track remains available and has not been submitted, accepted, committed, or signed elsewhere. If Night Shift Music sends a contract and later discovers that the track was unavailable, accepted elsewhere, or committed to another label before or during our review process, Night Shift Music reserves the right to withdraw approval and decline the release.

9.) CONSENT CONFIRMATION

By ticking the box on the demo form or submitting through the portal, you confirm that you have read and agree to all demo submission terms listed above, including Night Shift Music’s exclusive review requirement and any applicable Label Radar terms and conditions.
