OUR STORY...
Fourteen years ago, Vocalist and Songwriter Antonia Lucas, sparked a revolution on Facebook
by founding a private group for vocalists and songwriters. In just four days, this dynamic
community attracted 64 top-tier artists, and within a month, it grew to over 300 professional
members. Antonia’s mission was bold and clear: to confront the unfair practices and shameful
treatment of vocalists, particularly in the EDM sector, and to unite the community, giving them a
powerful voice to share their experiences and advocate for change.
This bold initiative gave rise to the Vocalist Songwriters Alliance (VSA). Initially, the discussions
within the VSA were filled with frustration and confusion. But as members shared their pain and
hopes, a powerful dialogue emerged. Linnea Schossow, another passionate and talented
vocalist and songwriter, joined the movement, amplifying its strength. Together, Antonia and
Linnea became an unstoppable force, passionately advocating for change—not just for vocalists
and songwriters, but for all creators in the music industry.
Recognizing the systemic issues that plagued the industry, Antonia and Linnea developed a
groundbreaking model for change. They believed that if they couldn't transform the industry from
the outside, they would revolutionise it from within. Leveraging Antonia’s expertise as a mental
health therapist, they delved deep into the psychological needs of creators. This insight led to
the development of a holistic approach to the music industry, one that prioritises the well-being
and safety of creators.
